new blower motor noise

a friend just installed a new blower motor in my 2000 E 38. Everything went well until I took it on it's first test run today. I'm hearing the motor making a clicking noise when I turn to the right and also at low fan speed. Any ideas what may be causing this noise?

Clicking sound points to fan hitting against something.He should have tested fan rotation before final assembly.Probably just a loose or not properly aligned fan assemby.Take it back to him and let him know.
