1994 BMW 318is Exhaust Question

I have a 1994 318is. It's has 227,000 miles on it and I've owned it for 15 years. Last night the rear muffler fell apart. No real surprise, as it's the original.

I want to replace it with a used exhaust - something cheap - as I plan on getting rid of the car after the first of the year.

Does anyone know if the exhaust (or just the rear muffler, I guess) from other 4 cyl. cars fit (i.e 318i / 318Ti)?

Yes they do. You can buy the entire exhaust used. What you can't get is a used cat. Other than that, any non Ti m42/m44 exhaust should fit.

So as long as it's not from a Ti, I'm OK. Sedan, 'vert will all fit?

As far as I know, the length is the same between a sedan, coupe, and vert.
