Start adding up the things it needs and see if you are willing to pay that.
-fix vanos problem
-repaint roof
-fix A/C, it doesn't JUST need a charge, if it needs charged then it is leaking somewhere.

What is it worth after you fix it?

well idk how much vanos repair cost im searching now and asking also

the roof and most of the car had some clear rap to protect paint and they tryed to peal it away but not all of it is off and the paint left under is looks abit dull and needs to be buffed maybe?

I like it. The black wheels look good with the white too. I'm sure the price should be lowered considering vanos, tires and miles. I also wished I would have known to check closer for rust when I bought my 328. I have no regrets but just recently found rust on the kicker panels under the skirts. I'm sure its common but maybe its another price bargaining tool for ya. Good luck with it. As far as price, I'm probably not qualified to say. But personally, I would start out at 3 to 3.5k and set a top end at 4 to 4.5k.

Around 5k, give or take a few hundred once everything is fixed.

What condition are the frame suspension attachment points? The paint, Vanos, etc. are petty compared to the frame condition. Put it on a lift and inspect the mounting points.

I am buying a 325 is and the first thing I am going to do is put it on a rotisserie and weld all new supports before I build the car. M3s take terrible abuse - look there as well.

6200! no f in way.
4000.

As a comparison, this one (local to me) with less than 100k, and newer year is asking 4500

$4000 , it's a m3! And it's probably the most seeked after e36 m3 due to it being a '95 which is the last year of OBD1 (upgrade friendly).

I say $5000 - $5500

Maybe in your market, but around here the E36 M3 in good, cared for condition approaching, or just over 100k is about 5000. One that has issues and requires repair at purchase, like the one the OP described, is lucky to get 4k.

I bought my 99 with 203k miles for 5500 with no problems I wouldn't pay more then 3500

For reference... One just sold here recently, alpine white, black int, clean title, 98k miles, very clean. He had it listed for $6250. Not sure what it actually sold for.... I almost jumped on it but decided I didn't need a third white BMW.
