So I admit I have a problem... I craigslist multiple times a day regardless of moneys to spend and it finally has paid off.
So I picked up a steal of an e28.
car was rough in the listing but the guy was very knowledgeable so I took a chance and began the 2 hour trek.

Car had sat under a tree for many years as the PO had retired it from the track.

This car has a metric mechanic 3.7 with a crazy cam and a piggy back ecu
Ground control coilovers
Dinan sways
E32 7 series big brakes
Relocated battery
And the list goes on

Super cool guy, gave me new in box clutch master/slave cylinders filters. His helmet, gloves and a bunch more.

Paint is pretty bad but once on the roll who cares.

Thanks

I promise I didn't mean to be a tease :D , The first two were after a wash with pressure at a car wash, then its first real bath. Another thing that I'm excited to play with is it has a Unichip piggy pack ecu. Thanks

That is a nice find. We grabbed an e28 not too long ago as well. Can't wait to tear into it. Good luck with the project.

Thanks everyone, I'm really excited. My wife on the other hand has never liked the looks if these cars but I think she will be fine. The car is great fun to drive and its faster then my 540ia ( well for now anyway) not that it is a super hard but in this car getting to speed takes no time.
