Hello all,
I know that this is off topic but please bear with me. My wife and I had a baby this December and I need to get a 4 door car. It is just to difficult to carry the child around in the Dakota anymore. So I am going to sell/trade my Dakota here are some specs.
2000 Dodge Dakota Sport Club Cab 4x4 Bright red with Gray int.
4.7L V-8 with an automatic Trans. (18-20 MPG)
Mileage is 82,000 mostly highway miles
Never off road never used to tow with
Never wrecked or abused
I have a copy of the Carfax report when I bought it.
I am an ASE Master Tech who took good care of this truck and I am sorry to see her go.
Ext mods are a Front light bar with Hella lights and a rear factory light bar that sits on the bed rail not in the bed (You still have full use of the bed) There are no lights currently mounted on the rear bar, But it is wired and can hold up to 4 lights. The truck has the 17 inch R/T wheels with some BFG tires and a set of short mud flaps to protect the paint. There is a spray in bed liner with a bed mat. The bed of this truck was covered with a topper for most of its life. I took the topper off and sold it a while back. The bed has been used very little and it is in great shape. I installed a set of cross drilled rotors with Hawk pads on it less then 10K ago. I am not sure but I think the pervious owner installed the factory high performance computer. I have gotten the part number off the ECU I just need to call and check to see if that is it. The truck sits level. Most 4x4 Dakota have a rake to them.
Interior Mods. The only thing I did is install a switch in the lower console for the front Hella lights. I installed it tastefully and the Hellas only come one when you have your headlights on and you hit your bright lights. If you turn the switch off you have normal control of the lights. I installed a MP3/CD/ aux input radio with remote this summer. It has the factory Infinity stereo speakers. The windows are tinted. I am going to re-pair the passenger side tint; it has a scratch in it. The body is in good to great shape no major dings or dents. There are a few small scratches in the paint. But the truck is a solid rust-free southern truck. The underbody is very clean.
All the normal stuff applies, Dual Air bags, Anti lock brakes, Power windows, Power Door locks, Factory installed receiver I have the ball that will go with the truck. ICE COLD AC (This is the coldest AC I have ever owned or worked on, It would run me out in 100 degree weather every time.) It does not have a sliding rear glass or power seats.
I have the factory radio (CD/Tape/Radio) that will go with the truck.
This is a great truck that I have put a lot of work into and I am sorry to have to sell her but I need something to carry the kid in.
I am asking 12,000 for the truck. I am willing to trade for a 1993 or newer 3 or 5 series BMW, but it must be 4-door and have darker interior (Dove gray, Black etc… no tan or white) and be a 5-speed .
