i'm taking a stealer to small claims court for some reimbursement after they did some work on the rear suspension, and left the RTAB and rear tire bolts loose, almost causing me to lose control and roll my car.

their attorney referred to my car as being 'modified' due to the previous owner installing bilstein sport shocks and springs that brought my car down 2".

can having these mods cause premature loosening of bolts??? it sounds so ridiculous, but i'm not an expert, either.

thanks for the help!

If the bolts are torqued properly, no.

No, properly torqued bolts should never come loose. Those bolts are supposed to be secured with loctite as well, something many shops skip doing.

What exactly are you taking them to court for if you only almost lost control? Any damage you suspect or can prove?
