ok car is a 1990 535i 5 speed. I first noticed it when I was slowing down, I put it in 2nd gear let out of the clutch and the rear end vibrated like crazy. The next day it would do it in every gear when accelerating, until about 55mph then everything was smooth. Now it will only do it when speeding up around 25mph, its a loud knocking noise and I can hear a spueaking noise unfer the car. I checked the lugs and everything all i can think is a driveshaft u joint, can anyone justify this?

Could be a center bearing going bad, guilbo or u-joint.
The good bad news is that to check the center bearing you need to remove the exhaust and the exhaust shield.

I read that its almost in impossible to change u joints and better to just swap the drive shaft. I can get one from a 530 but will it fit?
