maybe its a dumb question idk? i like to know everything thats on my car. and also your opinions on these products?

so i know the rear of my car is lowered on blisteins.. here goes a pic:

http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc261/incredakid94/photo-34.jpg

how much do these blisteins drop the car? in inches?

and well how good are they, what are youalls opinion?

.................................................. .........................

and this is what has me confuzzled (confused + puzzled)

the front is low as well (engine weight ) i know. but its even more low than the rear, the rear has the spare tire in the trunk a 20 lbs sub, and like 20 pounds work of books. but still the front is more low. (it could be just cause of the engine weight if it is just simply tell me)

but here is the front setup :

http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc261/incredakid94/photo-37.jpg

the coils aren't stock right?

they say HR, do these add a drop? (if so how much) .. or none at all ? are they good?

i seem to notice that my car is a bit more low than the stock cars on here.

so i just bought id ask why? any info is helpful and for some of you'll feel free to hate. and troll.

http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/haters-gonna-hate1.jpg?w=500&h=547

btw i plan on lowering it more later on....

heres a shot that shows its stance:

thats normal or does it seem a bit low?

thanks in advance

look up the part number on the springs and you should be able to find the drop and spring rate on h&rs website.

Well from the looks of it, those are good components, assuming they aren't damaged.
Lots of folks here on the forum, including myself, use bilstein struts and shocks.

I can't say for sure that is what you have on the front of your car, but judging from the rear shocks and the blue front dust boot, it's most likely Bilstein at both ends.
So if that is the case you either have Bilstein HD's or sports. both of which are excellent.

And just to clarify, the springs are what determine the height, and yes those H&R springs do lower the car. I can't make out the number on the rear spring but if it's a matching set, these lower the car 1.3" in the front, and .75" in the rear according to H&R's website:
model #29672-1
525i E34 1990-95 Sport Spring sedan front 1.3" Rear 0.75"

So it looks like the previous owner made some good choices, and unless one of the components are damaged I would say you have a good setup there.
hope that helps.

Not bad dude you got a pretty good package with that car (except for the M20 and and auto tranny LOLOLOL)

The front usually is dropped lower with most springs, it's just the way the stance is set up.

The joke is that you have almost 500 posts and ask stupid questions expecting other people to do your homework.

If you had any clue you know that H&R is not stock, you would know that a "shock" does not lower a car, and you would explain what the hell "20lbs works of books" are......

nope i stated it clearly i was asking for opinions as well... i really was looking for more opinions

i said it in the first line "also your opinions on these products?" so yeah .

and also H&R? I've never been looked into suspension that much, but I'm sure bmw uses parts from other brands -_-

or is every single component in a bmw , made by bmw ? i think not. i just wanted to confirm, because the po never told me and because this is the first time I've ever done this.

and never did i specify that a shock does lower it, when i said "how much do these blisters lower it " i mean the whole setup not the specific "shock"

and also i just wanted to include that (20 lbs) and "work" was suppose to be "worth" context clues buddy , and unless you want to type sentences for me next time you let me know...

thank you

but no hard feelings. i could have looked up the drop in the springs but i also wanted opinions .. i hope you understand..

The front's (H&R) are 35mm drop springs, ~1.37".

And i don't know what you mean with
the front is low as well (weight (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1698311#)) i know. but its even more low than the rear, the rear has the tire (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1698311#) in the trunk a 20 lbs sub, and like 20 pounds work of books. but still the front is more low. (it could be just cause of the engine? (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1698311#) weight if it is just simply tell me)You never meassure car height with the engine out off the car nor the spare wheel.

thanks M quick.

and i meant like maybe it could be that the front is just simply lower ? u know

just because the front is heavier and stuff.

im not saying weather the engine is in or out.

most of your threads never cease to confuse me... i mean how can you be on the forum and not possibly be familiar with bilsteins and h&r springs?! they come up at least every other day.

actually up intul yesterday around 11-ish at night, i did not know my car had these, so to be honest i never looked much into peoples SPECS!

so therefore when i saw threads i didn't look much into them..
