I have an early build E90 330i with i-Drive that does not permit me to program DRL's with the turn signal stalk or i-Drive. As a result I have purchased this unit: http://www.car2diag.com/bmw-diagnostic-tool/497776.html however the software that was provided did not have full functionality so I've downloaded other software at: http://www.sinodownloads.com/down/download/ecutool/3505011v210.rar (http://www.sinodownloads.com/down/download/ecutool/3505011v210.rar)

The combination of these two lets me properly identify the car, read and erase DTC's, read all option codes as well as reset Service Interals (brake pads, sparkplugs, etc.). Where I'm running into a problem is with coding the FRM to enable Daytime Running Lights (DRL's).

There does not appear to be a straightforward way to code this feature like there is with the BMW Scanner V1.40 (that one is a piece of cake to use on E46's and E53's from personal experience). What am I missing?

TIA

Nevermind. I realized that the above program is also somewhat incomplete as the FA-Coding button doesn't seem to have any additional software associated with it...the search continues.

I also have this interface compatible PA Soft 2.0.1 but from what I understand there and looked for software that comes is a beta and not released the necessary functions.

The only thing that works is of the very PA Soft costing a measly $ 1700 that comes with hard lock and released for use full functions.

Only the other vendors do not say anything and we buy the cheaper and has no cool functions we need.
