what is the maximum E39 offset?

my brother is changing his wheel...he is currently using Breyton cs 20"...

he is asking me what the maximum offset for 20" wheel that can fit into his e39...

any idea guys?

If its a breyton 8.5" front n 10" rear? Can i fit it with 20 front n 25 rear?

Those offsets should be fine with those widths.
One thing though is that the fronts may sit slightly "sunken in" (closer towards the inside) with that offset and wheel width. You could put them on and then see how it looks and your preference before buying a hubcentric spacer to move the wheel further out (lowers effective offset).
