Ok so i just got new wheels and tires put on my 07 328 this past week... the guy charged me for tpms assuming that my car had them and i also did myself, but then when they went to change out the wheels they discovered my car didnt have tpms and didnt bother with putting any on... so when i went to leave i got this (!) with a little line under it and now i cant get it to turn off... i know that some bmws dont have tpms but from what ive read the 06s and under dont have them and the 07 and up are suppose to... can anyone help or explain this to me... i did buy the car used was there any way that the guy before me cheaped out on the tires and didnt get the tpms put on the new tires and somehow turned off the warning telling him they were messed up?

Your car definitely has TMPS, every car from 2007 on has to have it. In some BMW models the sensors simply measure the rolling resistance through the suspension rather than putting a sensor in the wheel and directly measuring the pressure. Your system is basically freaking out because the rolling resistance drastically changed all at once. That can happen from switching to a staggered setup, changing the size, or sometimes just getting different tires.
You just need to reset the sensors and that will take care of it.

Ok... That's kinda what I was thinking but didn't really know cause this is the first time I've put new wheels or tires on it... But yes I did go from the stock 16s and put 18s on so that could definitely be what your talking about... That's what discount tire told me too but they didn't know how to turn of the low tire light. Thank you
If you know how to reset that light that would be great

It'll be in your owners manual.
