Whats the most someone would spend on an 01 Sport Green/Highline w/ 40k?

I can get my hands on a 2001 BMW 740I SPORT w/ Mpars and widescreen with the super rare GREEN outside and high line package with 40k, DONT WORRY, this will NOT be a part. The only reason im posting this is because this a RARE 740I sport with SUPER LOW miles so I figure someone would possibly want to take an advantage of. Btw, this is something that will sell tomorrow so if anyone has interest, it would need to be by today.

For it to be a full Highline model, it would have piped seats, wood on the rear of the seats, and a full leather dashboard. I have noticed though on the 740 Highline models, they do not get wood on the back of the seats and sometimes no piping either.

Looking at this car, I would say it is a 740 Highline or as close to it as you can get. I noticed it has the heated seats, etc.

The suggestion of $15K is good, possibly closer to $20K considering condition, rarity of the colour and the amazing miles. Are the rear seats heated too? A list of options would be nice.

I've never seen a Highline with sport seats but maybe this is the first one. Very nice car, good set of options on it too. To bad the little "m" sticker is missing from the bottom of the steering wheel but Im sure that can be replaced.

I believe it is just a low millage 740 sport package, almost like mine. I have never seen oyster carpet with the oyster seats.

Mine only 28K but it is not for sale - mine has grey that is the lightest interior I have seen

Not wierd...all sports have the piping in the seats - as you said it is the same color. Only the Highline used the different color on the piping.

That interior is what I have and the option (here in the U.S.) is called "Full Leather". It is two-tone but not with the piping. The Highline was offered in only two colors in the U.S. Blue (not Orient Blue, which I have, but Midnight Blue, if I recall) and Orinoco Green. Individual, sadly, was not offered here either.

I paid $17800 for my 2000 750iL with the Full Leather package in February of 2005 when it had 100K miles on it. KBB on mine is now about $8-9K and I would be lucky to get that (if it were for sale, which it's not!).

On this basis, I have to believe this car is worth $14-15K. You might get a bit more if you got someone to fall in love with it. Myself, I wonder how a car 10 years old has only 40,000 miles - that kind of low mileage implies sitting around a lot, which comes with its own set of problems.

Another tidbit to put under your cap about the HIGHLINE PKG...it was only offered on the LWB 740iL/750iL. So the comment about the wood trim on the rear of the seats...falls in line with the fact that wood on the back of the front seats is a 750iL thing (regardless of the highline pkg or not). :)

As you can see in the multiple images that were posted above, the Highlines that were pictured without wood trim on the back of the seats were 740iL Highlines.

The highline pkg also had a specific combination of contrasting trim...the carpet, entire dash (upper & lower), center console, seat piping, and most of the door panels are the darker Midnight Blue or English Green interior carpet/leather...while the seats and center door panel are the lighter ECRU leather.

The "full leather options (which is what the car has in the OP) could be had with several of the exterior blue colors or exterior green colors...as well as on the sport pkg & on the SWB 740i & LWB 740iL/750iL...and its specific color combinations included contrasting dark colored UPPER dash, carpet, and upper door panel (above the wood). The seats, lower dash, center console, and the doors (below the wood trim) were in the lighter colored OYSTER leather...and there's no contrasting piping on the seats.

For those who don't believe...I'm not sure how more specific we can get in explaining the differences between the Highline Pkg and the Full Leather Pkg. :D
