Hello all,
I'm, somewhat sad to say, I have left the bimmer world. I found a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 here in town, which is a vehicle that i have been looking for. The guys at the dealership offered a pretty good deal on trade-in and price of the Jeep. The main reason for the post is to thank you all for all your help along the way. You have saved me lots of money and I have learned a ton. It has been a pleasure being a memeber of this forum.
Thanks all,
Brandon

Thanks alot, guys. Aside from the MPG, I love it. It has a bit of everything, but i'd be lying if i said I didn't miss the bimmer and this forum. I can see myself getting an '01 IL sport in the future. I'll post a pic of it.

Very nice choice of vehicles. I personally love my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited but it is just the slow I6. I bet that srt8 really flys.

I had a 94 Cherokee with the I6. Best vehicle I ever towed a boat with. Good luck and stay in touch. :redspot

I had a '97 Laredo with 4litre I6 and I really enjoyed it. The 6.1L HEMI is a blast to drive. As long as i keep my foot out of the floor, it's OK(i stress OK) on gas. The good news is i have '99 audi A6 as a secondary vehicle.

You bet I will.:buttrock I'll be on lurking to catch an '01 IL for a good deal. Those things come and go.

The 4 liter strait 6 is an excellent engine but it is not the best vehicle I have ever towed with. That title has to go to the 86 Mercedes 420 SEL I had before the e38s.
Though I will say that the I6 drinks gas like no other, I can't imagine what the V8 was like.
