radio not turning on!! please help!

anti theft radio not turning on even after the key goes in and ignition is on the light still doesnt go away and the radio doesnt turn on , everytime i press a button the beeping continues for 5 min .

anyone know whats wrong? maybe a sensor? or fuse? Thanks!

If its beeping, it sounds like you need to recode the radio. There should be a card with the code for your radio on it that came with the car. BMW dealer charges $75 to look up the code. Check fuses, wiring first. Many people pitch the radio for a new aftermarket one with ipod and other features.

Bmw dealers should not charge you a penny...yes the aboge poster is right, some will ask you for a price, some will ask you to fome in for free, and some will just give it out...call around
