Hey guys,
I just finished installing new brake pads, rotors, calipers and rear suspension on my 740il and now its come time to put the wheels back on lol.
I was just wondering what the PROPER TORQUE SPECIFICATION is for the wheels?
They are the standard 16 inch wheels that come on the e38.
They're torqued at 72ft-lbs right now because i noticed they were bolts not studs and I'm a little afraid of over-tightening them. I'm reading some on the forums that say 90-100 but I don't believe that could be right for bolt on wheels (could be wrong though).
Please get back to me !
Thanks!

Christian

Just about every newer BMW will torque to 90 ft-lbs, including your 7-Series. I'm 100% certain that yours does as well.
