DISREGARD. It turns out I can't use the E46 mirror switch, and am now looking for the E28 switch and connector with pigtails that plugs into it.

I have this switch. I also have a complete harness. I am sure that I can find the connector and cut the wire. $35.00 shipped in the U.S.

Thanks! Unfortunately, it turns out I can't use it.

My plan was to install it in an E30 track car, because of its flat mount surface (the door handle where it originally mounted is gone). Apparently the E46 switch has a control circuit, which would burn out due to the mirror motor current.
