lesson learned?
I would say: don't touch the car if it is working good.
Just kidding...I can undertsand your mood....
This is the main reason why I am still sceptical....

Have you checked your battery voltage? DIS will run it down while playing!

If you have interrupted a session rather than closing it down before disconnecting, there is a fair chance that you may have corrupted the software (also referred to as bricking a module). Post details of the exact year, model and configuration of your car and someone on the forum may be able to assist you to fix the problem using WinKFP.

This is the EWS alignment. As of EWS 3.3, BMW made the EWS rolling codes only writable once to the DME/DDE. Once they're "paired", that DME/DDE is permanently married to the EWS module of that particular car. IcemanBHE learned this the hard way in another thread (we were hoping that changing the VIN w/ WinKFP would be enough to "divorce" and "remarry" the DME, but apparently it's not)

Any update on this? My car is having issue starting. Seem the immobilizer is cutting the fuel and spark.
Brief symptom of the car, the car would crank and seems it starts and stalls. Next time you start the car, it just cranks and doesnt seem to be getting fuel or spark.
We replaced the EWS and DME. My tuner moved my VIN to the new DME and re-aligned the key with a GT1.
Is there more to it than that? Id like to know as I havent been able to drive my car in over 3 weeks.
Thanks in advance!!!
