View Full Version : Quick 2nd gear burst (VIDEO)
yup, pretty lame. Havent driven it since 2 Sundays ago (putting maybe 100 miles a month on it recently :( ). Drove down to Bass Pro Shops to pick up some mineral lick for my hunting property (redneck alert). Saw a nice overpass and decided a quick 2nd gear burst was in order.
got to love a quick spooling 35r :). Its obvious where I hit it. Did some testing, hitting 13psi in 5th gear by 3300rpms or so.
noticed that in this video its running a bit leaner than I would like. The HFS6 is coming back from Howertown this week so i'll start flowing some meth to bring it down a bit.

edit: Check Control on because I just turned on my headlights, I get a low beam out message due to my cheap ass Depo HIDs......junk just like their headlights.

what's done to the engine? I'd love to do turbo one day, I got a ride in Rafa's TRM stage 2.something... it was amazing

is it expensive to get the O-ringing done? I assume the MLS and O-ring help lower compression?

MLS lowers the compression, oringing is to keep compression in the cylinder. You really dont need to do it as long as the prep on the block and head are on point. Its an extra precaution.

edit: oh and I did the oringing myself w an Isky Cams oringing tool. 1st time I've used one and damn...I was a bit nervous to cut into my block!
