Anyone? I've tried Zep brake clean, wd-40, and an impact wrench and it won't budge. I'm kinda stuck at this step and any help/tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

First try something that is meant to break loose stuck nuts/bolts. Something like PB Blast or Aerokroil which is commercially available is along that line but wd-40 is not. You can also make your own if you have the stuff (the google can help you there).

Mine were pretty stuck, so I hit them with PB Blaster and left them overnight. That and the extra leverage of a hex head socket took them off with no problem.

if they won't break free after some penetrating oil, you might have to hit them with a punch in the ccw direction to get them broken free.
i've seen plenty of them "frozen" in place and get rounded off by people trying to get them out.

I use a hand impact and PB Blaster...but if it's really stuck, I make sure to use a hand sledge instead of a dead blow. The vibration from the metal-on-metal impact tends to break anything free in no more than 3-5 hits.
If it's REALLY stuck, I'd use a propane torch on the screw, then let it cool all the way. A quick dose of more PB Blaster, then try the impact again.

Impact driver + PB Blast or AeroKroil works damn near every time. You could always try this, too:

Or if you're replacing the rotors just use a small sledge and give the rotor a few whacks from the backside until the screw head breaks off, then remove the rest with pliers. I don't do that unless it's absolutely necessary.

I drilled mine out.

If you aren't reusing the rotor, hit the rotor with a BFH, right behind the bolt. It will snap the bolt off, you can remove the rotor, and then easily remove the remainder of the bolt.

I used PB blaster, let it sit, then strong allen key and a rubber mallet.

Very good recommendations here...
1) Are you keeping the rotor? If not, a 4 lb sledge breaks loose control arm/tie rods from the strut with only 4 to 5 whacks....would do the trick with a couple good hits to the bolt
2) I am a fan of PB blaster and letting sit over night. Then allen key with a pipe to serve as a breaker bar. Add heat, rinse, repeat.
3) If nothing else, I also had to drill mine out.
Spray it with PB, then get the bit driver or whatever you're using (punch will work too) and put it on the screw and then beat the ever living piss out of it. Literally hit it as hard as you physically can.

don t reuse the retaining bolt....it s only there to facilitate install at the factory and really should not be reused when servicing (at least this is the stance of the automaker for which I work)

Right on. I love my little impact driver. Saved me a few times!
