528e sounds. .:Need Help:.

I have a 1983 528e (e28) and when im accelerating, i hear this high piched sucking sound comming from under the stearing colum. There is this hose thats under the steering colum off to the left and i think its coming from there, but i have now idea what that hose is. Anyone know?

Sounds like the hose that should hook up for your heater temperature monitor,which attaches on the far left kick panel toward the bottom,under the steering column pad.
