hey guys I am looking to buy some new euro style glass headlights with hids. I have heard a few people say they bought their headlights from http://understeer.com/onlinestore-lighting.shtml. Could you post pictures of what 4300k(pure white) 5,000k(blueish white?) and 6,000k(blue?) all look like on e36 m3's . I think I am leaning toward 5,000k because in the pictures I have seen it only looks like it has a hint of blue, which I like. But correct me if I am wrong. I am also just going to use 35w ballast because 55w seems like it can do some damage to the stock wiring without piggy backing the wires to the battery.
I ran 55w kits on my low beams and fogs with zero problems.
these are 6ks (the fogs look different because I had yellow lamin-x. Had a barely green hue from certain angles. Got lots of compliments.

also running 55w's. without the relay i had some intermittent firing. but its really very easy to run a relay to the battery which i did after testing. the output is amazing! the 5000k's will be slightly less blue than Volf's

I have the 55W 4300K's in my lows and 3K's in the fogs. I've been running the kit for about 2 years now with no problems.
I'll try to get some pics up later.
Btw, 4300K is maximum light output AFIK.

I'm running the 6k. Similar to what's in the 997's is the closest comp vehicle I can pinpoint. Blue, but not overly. Enough to be noticed more during the day too. I run with them on 24/7...yeah, that's a lot of driving.
