I have the 2011 550i with sports package. I'm not a huge fan of the wheels and have been looking at discount tire. I'm leaning towards the Privat Netz. They aren't as fancy as some but I'm not looking at spending a ton. $1,000 for four rims is a pretty good deal in my opinion.

Do you want to sell your existing wheels / tires?

Wait, you're ok paying around 60-80k for a new 550 but you're going to install some cheap wheels on it?

Do you have the style 332 wheels?

I'd agree if the expectation was for relatively low quality, soft and easily damaged wheels.

If your expectation is of high quality, stronger and better finished wheels, you'd be disappointed quite quickly with a set which costs as little as $1000. Not saying you have to go right up to the Forged options like the above, but definitely go for middle of the range more reputable and better quality wheel choices and brands that are out there.

Like the lip and spoiler on the second one. Not a big fan of black wheels.

I'm just hoping that my oem BMW wheels don't get damaged since they are pretty soft, from what I hear and read.

Depends on which ones you have.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm picking up my 535i with sport package this Thursday and I want to get some black rims. If anyone wants to trade, I'm certainly interested.

Hi Dennis

Do you know if those are 20" wheels? And are they lowered? If so, what brand of spring or coil? Thank you in advance.

Sorry, also what type of Tips or Exhaust system do they have?

If you want to sell your stock rims/tires let me know.

The second car looks sharp, not sure if I like it lowered that much, but I think the rims look great on it.

I like the wheels you posted in your first post. Very similar to the Beyern Mesh I have. You can actually get the Beyern Mesh for about $850 shipped with valve stems and lugs from Discount Tire online.

These will accept your BMW center caps.

Here is what they look like on a 528i...
