Hi all,

Just took delivery of a 2008 e91 wagon with x drive. It's q base model with 16's, and I want to flesh out the wheel wells a bit. The challenge I'm having is I get conflicting info on what I can or can't put on the car safely without screwing something up. I've looked at the oem radial 216's staggered, as some sites say yes, but BMWusa says no.

Also like the OZ superturismo (not sure what the difference is between gt and lm), but again, they will fit according to tirerack, but other sited I've read say no.

I do not want to put anything on the car that's going to cause problems in the ride, or do any damage to any of the systems.

Any help or advice would really be appreciated.

THX

I have OZ Superturismo's on my car! They look and fit great. I will get a picture for you later. Mine is a sport package 335i, so I can't tell you whether or not you will have problems with your wagon, but those wheels combined with the new Pilot Super Sports handle and look excellent.

BMW sells x drives with staggered set ups from the factory. Just make sure your rolling diameter of your fronts compared to your rears is the same! If not, hello fried transfer case. My dad is running a staggered setup on his 06 e91 x drive.

So can I pretty much use the OZ Superturismo or OEM 216's without any hitches? I really don't care if they are staggered or not, as long as they fill the well better, and I don't create any long term issues with reliability.
