That my friend, is the BMW 328 Hommage. It is a 75th year celebration, and redesign. And yes, it's real. And it looks quite fantastic.

I'm starting to think that people think anything made from or wrapped in carbon fiber is cool...

I'm going to have my shit wrapped in cf and see how much I can get for it.

But on topic, The car looks like a 8 year old designed it.. cool for a concept, but dumb in every other way.


Now the rear on the other hand... is fantastic

Its made to resemble the tape used for race cars so they do not leave glass on the track. Its not actual tape....

I think it's a pretty cool lookin concept, but I hope that's not the direction BMW is going with their styling for all the production cars. It's way overdone, IMHO. But then again, the rear styling looks very similar to the Vision...which already got approved for production. :confused

All that carbon work looks pretty impressive though. Looks like BMW just wants to exercise and show off it's ownership of SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers LLC...:D
