My brother is having an A/C issue with his 09 325i. The air conditioning unit only blows cold air from the passenger’s side vents. The air blowing out of the driver’s side vents is a mix of hot and warm air. It appears that something is allowing hot air into the cooling system, either from the outside or the heater exchange. His local stealership (Moritz) said it is a slow leak in the evaporator, I disagree. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Low system charge will cause A/C to blow cold only on one side; Which would be the side that the expansion valve is on. It's a very, very common problem for evaporator's to leak on these vehicles. I've changed on vehicles with less then 1,500 miles on them.
