Foam cannon wash......best technique?

hey all,
Got my Foam cannon and used it last night on my work vehicle as a test. Used diluted CG wash & clear, worked pretty well but not amazing. Have MaxiSudsII coming today for the M3 and customers cars.

Here is my question.

What is the best technique for using these?

-Rinse car
-Foam car
-dwell but dont let dry
-rinse soap off
-foam car again
-wipe down starting from top and every so often rinse wash media out in a 5 gal bucket w grit guard
-continue from top to bottom
-rinse whole car
-dry

thats my plan at least.

what is the best wash media? I have grout sponges, the DI waffled grout sponges, microfiber mitts, natural wash mitts.

what works best?
