This is a two part question haha

1. I'm looking to pick up staggered E36 Contour wheels. There are no tires on them. My question is how do I check if they're good wheels and not bent? Will i only be able to find out how good they are once they're balanced?

2. The E36 i bought has 225/245 (staggered tires) on 7.5" wheels all around. Theres still a good amount of tread left on these tires so I'd like to put them on the staggered E36 contour wheels. Will the rear 245 tires be ok to place onto the 8.5" Contour wheels after being mounted on a 7.5" wheel for the last 2 years?

1. Put the wheel on a flat surface and check to see that it sits flat without rocking (outward bends) and that there are no gaps under the lip (inward bends). Do this with both sides of the wheel. Next, roll the wheel and check that is doesn't wobble side-to-side or up and down (flat spots). These will be harder to see, so check the wheel closely if you suspect anything. Also check for any cracks. It's not uncommon to find a small bend on a used wheel.

2. It'll be fine. I put 205's that spent 4 years on 7" wheels on 8" wheels.
