Newbie here needs help!

anyways got some questions
Im getting interested into cars and since my first car is a nice 1999 528i
wanted to fix her up and keep it nice.
I am trying to learn how this and that works, reading forums googling
and such.
what is a nice place to get started? want to hear some opinions

p.s
how do you directly put pics up here? so used to uploading pics and new to forums....
I dont even know how you put signatures and such haha
