My friend has a 2003 BMW 525i. While he is driving after idling for a few minutes, the car will suddenly slow down dramatically to about 5 mph. The engine light came on. He has to pull to the side of the road and turn off the engine. After a little while, it started back up fine and was able to drive home. I wonder if anybody has the same problem and what is the remedy for it.
