why does the title have M5? your cars says 525i - you should be looking at different suspensions than an M5 based on weight.

with that said, I run Ground Controls and firmly believe they are one of the top 3 setups on the market for these cars.

Most M5 owners I know run BC racing or KW V2's

Not sayin I'd put em on my car. Lol that's just what most people use over on M5 board.
I'd go with EAC or KW's for my car.

yes.

To me it felt overdamped [or oversprung] in compression and underdamped [or oversprung] in rebound, especially in the high-speed range. High-speed damping is related to road imperfections vs. chassis movement which is considered low-speed damping.

Almost all asian dampers have this.

correction: cheap asian dampers.

KYB makes a decent damper.

Regardless, i agree, hence the reason I don't use them.

I am currently running Ground Controls which I think ride better than any of the other coilovers I have tried. My Tech hadn't tried them until he put mine in and when he drove the car he was thoroughly impressed cause he has installed a ton of KW and BC. They also come with front camber plates so that's an added bonus.

Whoops! Sorry I haven't updated that yet. I currently have a 2000 m5.

I run KW V1's and have no issues. Love the ride. Had kw v2's on my old ride and decided to do the V1's for the e39 M
