quick stupid question.

My dad has a blue 02 subaru legacy wagon. The paint has been neglected, I don't think it has ever been properly waxed, it is to the point that something more then a basic wax is needed. I have a bottle of Meguiars ultimate compound, meguiars glaze, as well as zymol cleaner wax that I use on my car.
What I would like to know is which one of these things would be best to use and in what order should they be used.

Hard to say without a pic. But if it's just faded try the cleaning wax. It will add some gloss from the small amount of polish in it and protection from the wax. If you have a DA that will produce better results then by hand. If that doesn't help enough the compound will work just fine. Subuaru paint is known for being soft so you will need to find a polish to follow up after the compound. Maybe super finish (my favorite) or m205 or a similar product. And that should take care of it followed by your wax.
