my road trip experience

i drove down from philadelphia to dallas over the span of three days with my e90. its about 1500 miles worth of trip. overall, it was a fantastic drive and i had plenty of fun driving the car. my back felt fine and the seat was very comfortable. i mostly traveled with the cruise set at 70 to 80 mph. gas mileage came to be around 29 miles per gallon. the car handled perfectly from point A to point B. bmw really make some amazing cars.

This type of driving is what I love most. I have a 325i E90 and whenever i get it to an open freeway (Santa Barbara to LA is about 90 miles) i set the cruise to 75-80 and enjoy averaging almost 30 mpg! I've driven plenty of other cars on the freeway and this is by far my favorite. You just feel like you have control over anything that might happen.

totally agree on it's road trip worthiness.....

I've done 4 trips over 1000 miles since last fall, car was great each time. My last one was a month ago, did just over 1000 miles non-stop, 15 hours....my back was fine!
