This is a Post in a different Local forum and I wanted to know what you BMW guys thought of it? and what it would be worth? and what I should look out for? its priced Right around 17k is it worth that? (This will be my first BMW)

I have a 96 M3 coupe 70k miles.

Stick
Silver
Many mods
Stoptechs

I will be doing some basic work on it so you will have a completely trouble free car (with 3mo garentee from me)

Selling because I would like to free up some cash for buying another house in FL.

Well under book value for a quick sell. $17,200

He also said he is taking it to a local BMW dealer and will get me a clean bill of health on it!??! It has been tracked alittle

Sounds pretty much in line for the year/mileage. Even a little cheap actually. Those Stoptechs and BBS's are worth a pretty penny alone.

Yep, if the Stoptechs and BBS wheels are a package deal, I would take it (if the car is clean & actually mechanically sound). You can't go wrong, I'd say the Stoptech's + BBS are at least $4,000-5,000. Sounds good to me. :)

How do I know for sure if its Mechanically Sound? I read about so many horror stories about oil pump nuts spinning off and the 95's with the coolant pump impeller...Vanos problems... When I get there to pick it up what should I look for other than the things i can spot like fixed body damage...

Thanks guys for a QUICK reply!

Just take it to the BMW dealer and for $89 they'll check it out. :)
