I know this horse has probably been beaten to death but I have been searching the forums for a while and have gathered information on what I want to do. In addition to talking with my mechanic I have decided to go with springs and not coilovers. So I'm looking at H&R and Eibach springs or others - let me know if I need to look at a different brand. Handling is part of the equation as is the daily driver deal. The look is important to me. Currently on my sport I can get 2+ fingers between the tire and the fender. My goal is to have the fender look like it's sitting on the tire. The pictures I have seen using the springs looks like it is not that much different than what my sport sits now. Does anyone have the setup I'm looking for using just springs (no coilovers) and if so can you post a pic and let me know what spring you used. I have the mpars currently with 245/45 in front and 275/40 on the rear if that matters on the wheels and tires. Thanks to all in advance.

First pic is current sport set-up. Second pic shows I need about a 1-1.5 inch drop.

Thanks. Looks good but I'd like to go just a bit lower. Not sure if that's possible with springs only. By the way do you happen to know the part numbers on the H&R stage II?

I think this is the lowest you can go with springs unfortunately.

Part number for the stage 2 is 29750 for the fronts

With that being said how do the FK adjustable coilovers ride? I might be swayed. Thoughts?

You cant get as low as your wanting on springs. You also have a Sport...which sits about where Eibach/HR1 kits sit. HR2 is a bit lower...but not what you want.

That's what I was thinking too - it would be a waste of money if it looks the same in my opinion. So the FK adjustable coils might be what I have to do. I'm just wondering if they are bouncy or does the car ride pretty good. I have seen the ricers that are lowered and they look like they ride rough as s*%t. Not that they have the FK's but hopefully you get the point.
