Hi...leaving the "key" device in my pocket, the driver's door unlocks when I put my hand next to the handle, and the door opens as it should. The passenger door, however stays locked unless my wife had her "key" in her purse. So that seems to require me to punch the "open" button on the remote. I don't see any way in the manual to program my remote so that both doors unlock when I put my hand on the driver's door handle. Anyone have advice? (My, but aren't we spoiled to be having these difficult problems with these great devices?)

There should be an option to specify whether all doors get unlocked or just one door. You can scroll through the options in the configuration menu using your stalk and the select the desired option.

Thanks...no stalk in mine but it may be handled through the options on the "radio" controls....I'll check that.

What do you mean no stalk? How do you signal?
It is not available through the radio menu and you have to be stopped with your foot on the brakes if the engine is on or be in accessory mode if it is off, or the settings menu will not appear.

Thanks...I'll check it out...still very new with this car! I was thinking the "stalk" was the I Drive device which I don't have....I do in fact have a signaling device! Thanks....

one thing to note is that i seem to remember you have to program each of the remotes individually. i think you have to stick he key in the dash and then make those settings for yours and then separately for your wifes. that's also how the memory seats work, it's a setting specific to each key. hope this helps...look up the manual online and it should say.
