97 Shifting

Hello all, quick question. I would liketo know what could be done to get the car to shift a little harder? Foot on tge floor the car has some hesitation to wind tge moter up, the trans shifts into second and seems to glide back down in rpm, then climbs back in rmp shifting to third. Does someone have a chip, software upgrade... For a V8 I really like the holy crap factor.....just looking for a little harder pull.

Is this normal. Btw car has 70,000 miles on her.

No not normal, it should go into kick down and stay there, check your throttle cables if they are nice and tight that can cause a delay
