Powered Bootlid

Does anybody know if you can open and close the bootlid via the key fob with this option??

You can open, but you have to push the button on the lid to close.:)

Sounds like a kind of useless option in most cases (unless you live in particularly inclement weather). Convenience package as a whole seems a bit extraneous to me unless you just have some money burning a hole in your pocket. On the other hand, soft close doors are kinda cool...

Actually, it's pretty useful when you have your hands full. You can easily close the lid with your nose.:redspot

Useless and sometimes embarrassing to have. But BMW loves expensive option packages.

Regret not getting that option... I'm used to it (my last car had power trunk and convenience key)

Does anyone know if the power "bootlit" can be add on?
