I'm trying to replace the bypass valve on my '05 MCS and having difficulty removing the old one. I am following the instructions here (http://helix13.com/inst/dtbpvins/DTBPVINS.htm) but I am stuck on removing the intake tubing. I unclipped the clamp on the top tube (from snorkel to bottom of the airbox) but I can't get it to budge. It has a pipe the comes out the bottom of it and goes straight down but I can't tell if it slips off of that or if that comes out with it.

After I remove that I need to get the bottom tube out (airbox to throttle body) which I am hoping gets easier with the removal of the top piece. Right now I can barely see the clamp I need to remove.

Has anyone done this? Advice would be appreciated!

It's a pain to install I did mine when I had the engine out. The tube has a bolt that threads in the side of the super charger. I think you will need to put the car into "service mode" to be able to reach this bolt. The instructions that come with the valve are much better than the write up you are using.
