Talked the seller down from $3250 to $2900 which, I'm aware is still well over KBB, but it hit all my criteria:
100% Unfooled around with BMW
Four Doors
Manual Gearbox
Commute sensible
Anyway, my last was a car Corolla. How could I not be happy? Please tell me what you think; more pics at the link below.

Oooooh man, are you gonna get pounded for looking at a 318. Better get your flame suite on quick or you will be smoldering like a forgotten marshmallow in a bon fire.
Nice car. I have a 2 door parts car the same color. How many miles on her?

Nice pickup, I was considering a 318 daily because of the fuel economy recently

Haha, I had a similar thought... Gas is getting spendy...
I didn't notice if you posted miles, but that looks to be a very good pick up. 318 is a great car, despite it's less impressive/sexy motor. I'd still much rather drive an e36 than most cars. I wish we had used diesel bimmers here in the states...

Thanks for the warning csmc1013. It has just under 109k miles. Last owner had it for about half of those.

Thanks for the positive feedback, everyone. And yeah, the steel wheels may indeed get replaced; lots of smaller things to be done first though, like replacing the door handle gaskets and glovebox spring, polishing the headlights, and so on. Car has been maintained but it is still nearly 20 years old.
