I have this awesomely fun 85 535i E28 5 speed with the following goodies:

Car is diamond black with H&R Springs, Bilstein Shocks, 17"x7.5" style 68 replicas with new ZR Kumhos, all the electronics work, has full working OBC, sunroof, foglights w/ separate switch, 10-way power seats (headrests work), mint black extended leather interior, CD player, Boston Acoustics speakers all around, rear sunshade, engine doesn't burn/leak any oil, has a 3.25 limited slip diff, Getrag 265/6 transmission w/ tight linkage, euro front end conversion (fogs and signals) w/o bumper.

The problems, all doors pretty much have dings, or slight rust starting in a few spots (underside of car has no rust surprisingly). Paint on trunk, roof, and hood is oxidised, and recoated with black primer ready for a redo with factory paint. Bosal catback is rusted and starting to go. Oil pump seal is leaking oil.

I might be getting into a Z4 this spring if I grow the balls to sign the lease, and should I do that, I might sell this car to help with downpayment. How much is it worth? Pic is below. 260K miles and runs great, new guibo, valve adjustment, new fan clutch, no overheating issues, and a damn blast to drive; handles great, rock hard Bilstein suspension :)

Hard to tell from a distance with ice on the car,but it sounds like $1600/2500,depending on things I can't see or tell about.

I sold used BMWs for close to 25 years,and have owned 5 e28 535i's.
