I have a general interest. Does the M3 have the same issues as the e36's for the same period? That is platic water pump, shok mounts, ball joints etc? Also do you have maintenace records??

I currently own a 94 325is and over the past year have been doing the standard maintenance plus these additional required upgrades since I want a reliable vechile. If I wa to purchase I would hope not to do this all over again.. Let me know please. I live in FL so I would also like to arrange a visit to see. Thanks

yes i have have all records, but nothing much has been done except for BMW service check ups or oil changes, and i started doing those at home. yes the m3 has all the same issues as the other e36s, but i havent replaced the plastic pump yet as my car has very low miles and rides very smooth as far as suspension goes. anyone email me if you are interested.

bust, I think your price of $17k - $17,500 is very fair. Don't go for the lowballers... M3s aren't cars that can be rated accurately on KBB... they are a true enthusiast car and especially with one w/ miles as low as yours it maintains a premium.

I've been trying to talk to the "boss" to convince her.. but she won't let me have 2 Cosmos Black M3s :(

I do however have a friend who is very interested. He is currently working fast to sell his S4 for he can hopefully buy your car.....

Hang in there!!!

Agreed. I think the price is fair given the mileage and condition. It's obvious you take good care of the car.

That said, as a potential buyer, I'd like to see the price lower... ;)

Thats low mileage.. I looked at a 95 at a high end used car dealer in MD that had 97k and they wanted $18,900 for it.. To the right buyer this car would be worth 17,500..

I wonder why he's had such a hard time selling. Tried selling it once at 27k miles for 21k, was on DTM and BF about two months ago for 18 and nothing, and here it is again, only 500 bucks lower.

Because people are buying the same car but with 20-30,000 more miles for about 3 grand less (in some cases.)

The car is worth it, maybe the economy is bad for the people who want it?

maybe because the car mechanically holds up so well the mileage dosent really matter that much.

Has anyone actually seen the car in person or even test-driven it? The guy is kind of hard to get a hold of and I live cross-country, so any input from you guys would be great.

Mechanically the cars last forever (a while anyway) but some people prefer a lower mileage car because not only do they know the engine is in good shape but the paint, suspension, interior, etc is likely to be good too.

Guy doesn't seem to care much about selling his car. Called him, told me to call his brother since he was busy. Did that, some woman answered the phone, said he was in the shower and would call me back in 10 mins. Never did
Got in touch with the guy who was in the shower by email, told him to call me at 3pm the next day. He never did.
So, I called back a couple more times. Got ahold of the same guy as before. Told him to have his brother call me, I was VERY interested, but I needed to talk with him ASAP. Never called me.

If you're gonna sell a car you should prolly respond to people who take interest in it...
