I've recently put on my winter tires and noticed that my rear tires are losing a little tread on the inner side. Now i know it doesn't rub when the car is parked or rolling , and i have been told that on hard cornering it will rub.

My car is dropped 2.75" front, 2.25" rear, and am running 235/40/18 all around on 18x8 replica parallels

Will running 225/40/18 reduce/eliminate the rubbing, and is it safe to run this setup? I have factory wheels on right now (225/x/15) and theres no rubbing at all.

Or should I just raise my car 1/4"? No issues with scraping anywhere else on the car so its just this tire issue..

I have a ground control coilover kit, I can have the rear raised 1/4" but I dont know if its worth the money to have it done.

So it is ok to run 235's in the front and 225's in rear?
