I have a 02 Mcoupe that has a radio that won't take the dealer code so I need a replacement ASAP for we are selling this car so if $200 can take yours please contact me and cash is ready !!!

Going to have a very very very very hard time getting a CD43 for $200 that works.

There is probably nothing wrong with yours, just that the dealer is decoding the serial number wrong and as such you get an invalid code. From what I've seen & experienced this is common on these units.

well I'm pretty sure about the source since 2 dealers gave the same # and ran it from the vin and radio ID#

OK, whatever. I know nothing and you are god :rolleyes

I cannot even begin to tell you how many dealers run the serials/codes WRONG on these headunits.

I'll give you $10 for your paperweight headunit, and have the code for it in a few minutes.

Would it kill you to give the guy a genuine, helpful, non-sarcastic response? Jeez man.... :rolleyes

If you truly know so much about these units, why not offer a reply that will actually help him get a working code, since you seem to know how do it in a few minutes.

Seriously though... they are decoding it wrong.

well how about being just about being right about the decoding and sell me the correct code for $10... it's only a couple of #s
