Anyone used one of these with INPA/Carsoft/GT1?

I can't get the usb serial adapter I have to work right. Plus this can interface with my Android phone for live data. :redspot

I hope to be able to program my car too...although coding over wireless might be risky...

would have to be a bluetooth vag interface, not a generic reader. What interface are you using that is serial? that you need to use an usb-serial adapter? Also there is a difference between cheap usb-serial adapters and higher quality ones. I would get a better one then try again. or just get a usb interface.

The interface I have is a china pa soft cable I got last year. It has a box with 20 pin and obd2 cables. The box has a power led and k-line led. I would like to be able to code with inpa. I have a crappy serial adapter....so maybe that's why it won't work...

I used a usb/serial adapter that I got from monoprice for about $9 + shipping. It works perfect for me (I use it for DIS/SSS/INPA/NCS). I've got an 07 328xi.
