For all of you ES100 owners...
How many miles are you getting out of these? I'm at about 12K and the inner edges are pretty shot. Not much tread left on them.

Those are what I just got on my RK's, I hope that they dont wear to quick, but they grip very well so I'm sure they probably will.

That's what I have them mounted on. Polished BBS RK 17x8. Great wheel! The ES100's seem to grip very well, they just get noisy with wear and at a bit over 12,000 miles they're about shot.
What size did you get? Mine are 235/40WR17.

I toasted my 15' ES100's in more like 7-8k miles with a quite a few auto-x's and a track day or two. Pretty good grip for a street tire with a decent price.

I just bought these tires and I came from Falken 451 and I feel like Im going to die. They are so slick.... :(

Consumer reports just did a test on tires and had these near the bottom....
The Falken ZEIX512 was rated at the top.... another good all season high performance tire to consider is the Toyo Proxes4 which I hear has longer life and better performance than the ZEIX512, but it does cost more.

I'm not going to buy them again. The es100's are not all season tires.
I believe my next choice will the Bridgestone RE750's.

I'm on my 2nd set and I love them. It doesn't snow here though....

I got about 10k out of my Intermediates.
Anybody run AVS Intermediates and then switched to ES100s? I keep hearing that the sidewalls aren't very stiff on the ES100s.

I'm thinking putting a new set of ES-100's on my 17x8 OZ's, so hopefully they last at least 10-15k. It's been raining here quite a bit, how's the wet traction?

You'll definitely notice a difference between these two tires. Yes, the sidewalls are much softer when compared to the AVS'.

I've had two sets of proxes FZ4s on my E-28 last forever and great wet traction not a good performance tire. too hard but they do last longer than any Z rated tire i've ever used.

I burned through my AVS sports in about 4k. I have about 10k on my es100's and they are still going strong. However it did take me a while to get use to the softer sidewalls, alot softer infact. I like my es100's and for the price I will probably buy another set, especially now that I live in Vegas!!!!

I have ES100 on my Accord and I wish I had them on my 330 as well. Those Contis sure are crapppy! Anyway, I have put at least 7K on the ES100 so far and no sign of wear yet (that's after some hard driving and 2 autocross sessions). Size is 205/45/17, BTW. I will most likely get ES100 when my Contis are done.

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me that. I forgot about the traction in rain. ES100s are far better than any of the all season tires that I ever have (Michelin models) in wet.
