TCU w/ assist retrofit

I am spinning my wheels at this point, so I thought I would ask on here.

I picked up an OEM MKIV nav, screen, BM53 and TCU w/assist.

I retrofitted the nav without any problems, but the bluetooth has been a nightmare.

I did install the BT antenna under the console too.

I have an 04 ZHP so all of the wiring was in place, except for the assist button and antenna.

I added $639 and now the TCU shows up in the modules, but I am still not getting any bluetooth showing up on my phone.

Are there other options that I need to add to the VO?

I wonder if it is that using an iPhone 4.

I believe the TCU is only in pairing mode momentarily at start-up. Some modules, I think UDF modules, but it may be TCU modules, require a pairing button. Also, some TCU modules did not include bluetooth.
