E36 adaptation reset????

anyone know how to reset you fule adaptation in an e36 using the dash? i know to hold the mile reset and turn the key to the first click, but the #'s in the dash only go up to 15 and thats the lock or "L on" pres and hold to turn it "L off" but i dont know how to reset the adaptations???\
