question about tranny swap

Hi there, I have a question, can I put a Auto tranny (5hp19) into a m52 motor?, ok here its the deal....
As your people know, my car is a m52TU with the auto tranny ZF 5hp19 and I have the opportunity to buy a e39 528 m52 (not the TU, its a 98 car), with manual tranny 5 speed for a very good price (US$1,500.00) (the car has 2 bad cylinder and other bad features), so my plan its, buy the 528 m52 5 speed manual tranny and take off the manual tranny with the driveshaft and the differential and putting in my car, and take off the auto tranny with the driveshaft and the differential and putting into the 528 m52 car.....
I know the m52 motor came with the 5hp18 (my auto tranny its a 5hp19), it is possible what I trying to do? the cable harness of the tranny came alone from the motor cable harness? do I need to recode the auto tranny computer in the 528 m52 car?

I can't say, having never seen or heard of this attempted, but my gut reaction is No. You will get caught out by the coding. But then, all of the US spec cars with a M52* had a GM transmission, so my view is a bit limited.
