E36 M3 seats...option?

I was out today looking at a few E36 M3's and i was just curious on one of the M3 it did not have the ///M stripes on the seats... was that just an option for the M3's.

The car had every other M3 option., but i just wasnt sure if this was something that was taken out of the car or was just a option at the time??

The one you saw most likely had the Luxury package..the seats are not the same.

On the lux. packaged cars, they don't have vaders or the sport side skirts, but have wood interior trim and a different front air dam. I think thats all that was different.

There isn't a sport package for the M3. Only standard cars and luxery package cars. Lux cars differ by what toddman35 said.

You had the right idea with the first image, just take out the spaces and it should work.

yeah that is a lux package M3 that you have pictured.. the ///M3 vadars have great bolsters on them... to keep you in your seat when cornering hard....

look at the side skirts that "Serious" has on his car in the picture....see how the lines kind of "cross"....well lux side skirts are like an other E36 car....straight and smooth....

i should have held out for a regular M3....would have saved me some money!

....as far as if its too much money....seems a little high for that much mileage (what is the conversion rate for cdn to $)

but if the interior is immaculate (no stains) and the seats have minimal wear, the outside doesn't have paint chipping, then go for it....the car is awesome to drive!

I think im gona hold out and find another M3, with a bit less KM on her.. I really like the Alpine White - makes the clear corners looks sweet. well i think so at least

Thanks for clearing all that up for me. now i know a bit more of what to look for.

trust me, you do NOT want the luxury package, you want the originial side skirts and the vader seats

They do except on lux packaged sedans and maybe verts, not sure about those though.
