Bought the car a week ago, and I just noticed that the single tough power window roll-up feature does not work on the driver's door...the single touch feature works when rolling the window down but not up...all other windows work just fine, single touch up/down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, everyone says it's the window regulator.

There is a safety contact strip built in to the top of the window to prevent finger damage. If the switch is activated the window reverses. Check the other windows to see of that is operating. If so then either the contact strip is bad or a broken or disconnected wire.

Also, I think the door has to be closed for the one touch up feature to work.
Were you testing with the door open?

If a window regulator was replaced...the auto up & down features both need to be reinitiated...or if the anti-trap sensor isn't working, the auto up feature is cancelled. And if this did occur...the auto down feature may have inadvertently been initiated by someone holding the button (incidentally) while opening the window.

I can't see how a bad window regulator would cause this issue but I could be wrong. I have the door closed while testing...checked the entire perimeter of the window frame and I could not locate the window contact switch.
Qsilver, great info regarding the programming of the one touch feature, however, I had no luck with the reprogram.

Have you tried the anti-trap feature to see if it is working? If it's not...then that may be your issue.
You can check it by taking a rolled up newspaper, towel, or stuffed animal...and roll the window up with the object in the path of the window. If the window does NOT stop and reverse...then the anti-trap strip may be unplugged or pulled out of place (again, this can happen if work has been performed on the door).

Tried the shop towel/ rolled up news paper and the window did not stop...looks like a bad anti-trap switch. Does this mean taking off the door panel to investigate further?

The contract strip may be disconnected inside the door panel. It's a common problem. If someone did any work inside the door panel it's very easy to overlook.
